Our central location in the hill country is ideal during the holidays because we are surrounded by lots of Christmas festivities!
We met up with the O’bannions in San Marcos for Sights & Sounds of Christmas (and LOTS of food! They should include that in their title, too!)
The girls were excited to see Ashlynn! (And we were, too! Just look how well she kept them in line!)
Mr. Liam is as handsome as ever!
Avery took over Ashlynn’s Chips-on-a-Stick!
And we couldn’t miss attending the annual Sattler Christmas Parade with the Weakly’s, even though it was really cold and wet! (We were in short sleeved shirts at the parade last year!)
The North Pole Village is one of our favorites! Not only because it’s indoors, but there are lots of activities for the little ones!
Decorating cookies! Alex and Avery’s favorite!

The girls got their faces painted for the first time! Avery picked a snowman…
And Alex (who refuses to go near Santa) picked Santa Clause!
Rudolf got his nose painted!
All of the kids got to pick out a book in the library…
Fishing for chocolate!
Last night, the Tarrants were in Austin visiting family, so before they headed back home, we met them at The Salt Lick for dinner! Alex and Avery were so excited to see Maddie and Kinley… it had been about 6 months since they had seen each other!
We’re looking forward to more fun things to do and see before Santa comes for a visit in less than two weeks!
