Saturday, Uncle Bart and Aunt Tana invited us out to the last home game of the Texas State University Bobcats (where Daddy and Uncle Bart graduated!) This was Alex & Avery’s first football game and they had a blast!
They loved sitting up high and Hayes made sure they understood what football was all about!
The girls quickly claimed the fruit tray!
They watched the entire half-time show and never moved a muscle! They were impressed when Mommy informed them that she played the saxophone in her high school marching band that were the state champs year after year and even got to march in President Clinton’s inauguration day parade in Washington DC! (Yes that was a long time ago but in my defense, I was only a freshman!)
Lucky little girls with cousins that think so much of them!
They had such a great time hanging out at the game with the boys! Alex tried to show off her quarterback skills by throwing Ryne’s friend’s football over the glass and into the crowd below! (Yes, she really did. And no, we were not impressed by her skills.)
Thanks, Bart and Tana, for having us out! Alex is still chanting “Eat ‘em up, Cats!”

I love your blog! I hope you don't mind that I became a follower! :) Erin
ReplyDeleteCrazy we did this the same weekend! I think your seats were a little better though. I think the worst part was the people yelling curse words behind us and not being able to get out to go potty very easily :)
